NewsCrypto governance

Our community has always been a priority for us, and when it comes to the direction that our project should take, there’s no one better to ask than our users. That’s why the governance function, which you can find on the NewsCrypto platform, allows all those with a premium membership, NWC stake, or other commitments (see the details below) to vote on proposals about the future of NewsCrypto. This will range from content-related questions (about what we should cover in our educational sections) to far-reaching questions about the development of our different products.

The voting power is calculated based on the dollar value of NWC held or staked, and specific dollar values are also assigned to those with a premium membership, advisors, ambassadors and educators on the Unchained education platform. Note that the values, with are listed below, are cumulative, so that, if you fulfill multiple conditions below, then your voting power will be the sum of all of them.

For example, let’s say you’ve got a monthly membership, $3000 staked for three months, and are also a NewsCrypto ambassador. In that case, your voting power would be: $75 (membership) + $3000 (staking) + $100 (ambassador status) = $3175.
