Put your predictions to the test, compete with fellow traders and earn in-app credits (which you can then swap for NWC tokens) for correct answers!
Community Predictions is one of the most popular interactive features in the NewsCrypto app that allows you to play against other users and earn rewards for doing so. It's been completely redesigned and expanded in V2.0, so let's see what it looks like.
Predictions tab – participate and compete in 3 different prediction tasks.
1. Choose the token that will gain the most in value among 4 proposed tokens – 20 credits
2. Predict if a particular cryptocurrency will close Below or Over the stated price – 10 credits
3. Input the exact price where the chosen cryptocurrency will close at the end of the day (within 1%) – 30 credits
Results tab – displays your results from yesterday's predictions. Correct answers are displayed in green and the wrong ones in red.
Leaderboard – Show your friends who's the boss in price predictions, compete in the leaderboard with fellow traders and earn rewards. The top 5 traders will be rewarded with 335 NWC tokens on a weekly basis.
The rewards are calculated based on the number of credits earned from predictions, so keep in mind that credits earned in other sections of the app (such as games) don't count towards this total.
The leaderboard is reset every Sunday at 23:50 UTC.
In future updates we'll also add a Team section, where you can establish a team of traders and compete together against other teams for credits.
